Your course is using Zoom this quarter and we wanted to share our new recommended workflow for using Zoom in Canvas. As of Spring 2020, a Zoom App became available that allows meeting scheduling and student access within Canvas. This integration is only available using the instructional team’s individual NetID Zoom Pro accounts, so we are no longer providing Shared NetID Zoom accounts for courses/programs.

In addition to the above workflow, we recommend that you review the settings your Zoom Pro account using our Zoom Settings Cheat Sheet to make sure all the functionality you want to use is enabled prior your initial class session. You should also launch the Zoom meeting from Canvas to confirm that everything is working as expected.
