Please familiarize yourself with the following important information. Many questions related to your Employment Agreement with UW Continuum College will be addressed here. Contact your Program Manager with questions.
Extension Lecturer Appointments
Appointment Letters are sent via DocuSign. A signed appointment letter must be on file and you must be active in the University’s HR/Payroll system (Workday) before you begin work and before payment can be issued.
Please refer to your appointment letter and the “Extension Lecturer Resources” document for terms and conditions. Contact your Program Manager or Continuum Academic HR at UWC2AcademicHR@uw.edu with questions.
Instructor Payment
Your salary will be paid in equal, regular, bi-monthly installments during the effective period noted in your employment agreement. UW pay periods are the 1st – 15th and the 16th – the last day of the month. Pay dates are the 10th and 25th of each month.
If you have questions about your pay, contact ctnmpay@uw.edu.
Instructional Assistant and Course Developer Payment
In order to receive pay, you must submit timesheets in Workday. You will be paid based on the number of hours submitted and approved for each pay period. Hours should be submitted at least once per week, and again on the 16th and the 1st of each month. Only submit hours after you have completed a shift. Your program manager will review and approve your hours at the end of each pay period.
If you have multiple positions, please report hours on the correct job in Workday (this position will display either Instructional Assistant or Course Developer, and the program abbreviation, in the title). For instructions on submitting timesheets, refer to the Workday Enter Time, Quick Guide.
If you have additional questions, please email ctmnpay@uw.edu.
