Your Class List

You will be provided with an online class list, which is updated daily. You’ll want to view your class list to keep track of which students are officially registered for your course. Please check your class list and report discrepancies immediately to UWC2 registration.

 

View Your Class List in MyUW

  1. Go to the MyUW website: myuw.washington.edu.
  2. Log in with your UW NetID and password to reach the MyUW main page.
  3. Click the Teaching link on the left.
  4. Under Teaching Schedule, UW PCE, click the MyUWClass icon under the “Syllabus” column.
  5. Go to Class List under Online Resources. You can view the list online or print it.

Note: The enrollment report is updated every night, so the Class List is a current record of all students in your course and their status—”enrolled” or “dropped.”

View Your Class List in Canvas

You can access the list of students enrolled in your course from within your Canvas site.

  1. Login to canvas.uw.edu with your UW NetID and password.
  2. Locate your course from the Courses link in the left-hand global navigation menu.
  3. On your course homepage, click the People link in the left-hand course navigation menu.
  4. This displays a list of all enrolled students, along with their NetIDs and dates of last course access.

Send an Announcement to the Entire Class

In Canvas, you can use Announcements to send messages to all of your students at once.

  1. Click the Announcements link in the left-hand course navigation menu.
  2. Click the blue +Announcement button.
  3. Compose your message.
  4. Click Save. The Announcement will automatically be sent to all students enrolled in your course.
